You can run, but you can't hide from text anxiety. For some people test anxiety doesn't faze them, but for the majority test anxiety like that one fly at a family cookout that you can't get rid of. As soon as a teacher mentions anything about a test, students instantly just mentally shut down. If technology is changing everyday, traditional reading tests or quizzes should too. There is no need to fear, Quizziz is here to the rescue. I am sure you are asking what is Quizziz. Similar to Kahoot, players fly through questions at their own pace. This strategy limits all discussion to after all questions have been answered. Hopefully this application hits the surface for future uses.

I actually talked with a teacher this week who loves to use this her classroom! I agree that today there is so much pressure and stress when it comes to assessments. Using resources such as Quizziz and Kahoot are very efficient and accurate ways to collect classroom data that can decrease that anxiety. I believe that allowing students to use technology in their learning that it allows them to take some more ownership in their learning and success. My question is what is a good balance between using these types of assessment and written assessments?
